TCN was created in 1963 and I am the third leader after Claude Rousseau, the founder, and François Rousseau, his son.
For over 60 years, we have made the world more colorful!
Our clients use the products we manufacture in post-processing, to dye any polymer and polish acetate.
They particularly appreciate the ease and speed of implementation of our coloring and polishing processes, whose impact is significant and cost-controlled.
We work with major players and SMEs around the world.
TCN was born in 1963 from the meeting of a passionate chemist and a craftsman from Oyonnax in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
This close collaboration made it possible to develop a New Chemical Technique for coloring glasses.
This process quickly gained popularity among cellulose acetate users in the region.
Hair ornaments, costume jewelry, and buttons are some examples of objects colored by this method.
Many fields of activity such as art, advertising, and even 3D printing have adopted this coloring technique.
Creation of TCN by Claude Rousseau, a passionate chemist, and a craftsman from Oyonnax in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The founder Claude Rousseau handed over the reins to his son François Rousseau as the new director of TCN. This new generation of chemists initiated the company’s Grand Export development.
Valérie Weil became the leader of TCN after spending 14 years as a chemist alongside François Rousseau. She strengthened both the company’s international development and its expertise in the field of 3D printing.
The team expanded with:
TCN has its products certified “Origine France Garantie“, confirming the local roots and traceability of its productions.
TCN adopted a forward-looking vision by inaugurating its new headquarters south of Paris to manage its multi-sectoral growth and implement a sustainable development policy.
TCN obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification from the TÜV organization.
Strengthened by its new location, TCN bolstered its marketing, QHSE, and logistics teams.
TCN has taken a structuring step by signing the Responsible Care® charter and carrying out its initial diagnosis. The results obtained confirm a solid and growing commitment to more responsible chemistry.
In 2025, TCN joins the Coq Vert community and receives a National Trophy for Responsible Chemistry. In the same year, the company was awarded a European distinction for the eco-design and presentation of its products.
TCN carries out its carbon footprint and adheres to the Grand Paris Sud charter, affirming its positioning as a company committed to social and ecological transitions on a territorial scale.
