Techniques Chimiques Nouvelles (TCN) is a French SME in the chemical industry, based in the Île-de-France region.
For more than 60 years, the company has developed recognised and distinctive expertise in the design and manufacture of colouring preparations and polishing pastes.
TCN designs solutions for many industrial sectors, with the aim of offering customers products that are easy to use, quick to implement and high-performing, particularly for colouring synthetic material parts. This approach is part of a process incorporating the principles of eco-design and responsible chemistry.
Drawing on its expertise, TCN promotes French know-how internationally. The company supports customers from a wide range of industries, who value the technical quality of its products, their ease of use and the flexibility of the support provided.
TCN was founded by Claude Rousseau, a passionate chemist, together with a craftsman from Oyonnax in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Founder Claude Rousseau passed the baton to his son François Rousseau as the new director of TCN. This new generation of chemists gave the company fresh momentum in developing its major export markets.
Valérie Weil became head of TCN after spending 14 years as a chemist alongside François Rousseau. She strengthened both the company’s international development and its expertise in the field of 3D printing.
The team expanded with:
2 chemical engineers,
1 production manager,
1 international development manager.
TCN obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification from the certification body AB Certification.
TCN had its products certified “Origine France Garantie”, confirming the local roots and traceability of its manufacturing.
TCN adopted a forward-looking vision by opening its new headquarters south of Paris, enabling the company to manage its multisector growth and implement a sustainable development policy.
TCN obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification from the certification body TÜV. Building on its new site, TCN strengthened its marketing, QHSE and logistics teams.
TCN reached a structuring milestone by signing the Responsible Care® charter and completing its initial assessment. The results confirmed a strong commitment and continued progress towards more responsible chemistry.
TCN joined the Coq Vert community and received a national Responsible Chemistry Award. That same year, the company was recognised at European level for the eco-design and presentation of its products.
TCN completed its carbon assessment and signed the Grand Paris Sud charter, affirming its position as a company committed to social and ecological transitions at territorial level.
Team cohesion is a strong human value at TCN. Kindness towards others, the ability to support one another and the company’s inclusive approach—respecting individual differences and specificities—together with the desire to improve by sharing our best practices and corporate culture, are essential guarantees of the company’s long-term sustainability.
