Following strong market demand, TCN has undertaken a comprehensive certification process for its dye Ultra Black 9093AM GTC, now validated by accredited independent laboratories.
👉 Recommended for PA12S parts produced using MJF technologies and standard white PA using SLS Technology, this solution stands out as the first certified black for these applications, meeting the most stringent technical and regulatory requirements.
In a context where safety, compliance and performance requirements are increasingly demanding, these tests were carried out in accordance with international standards, on dyed parts under representative usage conditions.
Biocompatibility: results compliant with ISO standards
Biocompatibility tests were conducted on PA12S parts dyed with Ultra Black 9093AM GTC:
- Cytotoxicity: ISO 10993-5 & ISO 10993-12 (XTT method)
• Skin irritation: ISO 10993-23 & OECD 439
The results confirm compliance with applicable requirements, enabling use in applications involving skin contact.
